Journalists Raymond Arroyo and Robert Royal, and canon lawyer and priest Gerald Murray of New York talked on January 16 about the consistory of January 7-8. A short sequence, video below. Robert Royal commenting on Cardinal Grech’s contribution on synod: I think you hear that and you say, what in God’s name can that possibly mean? This is the gobbledygook we’ve been listening to for years about synodality and all this confusion. I mean, one of the things I’ve heard from sources is that many of these cardinals have said, "Look, we’re just confused about this. We’re tired of going over the same things again and again." These pronouncements keep coming out. When I read Cardinal Grech, I said to myself: This guy knows they haven’t gotten anything substantial done. You can try to preserve the illusion that there’s somehow a dynamic age of the Spirit underway, but it’s about to die. Raymond Arroyo: Well, he says there are good fruits here. He says fruits are blooming all over the place. …More
[Father Dom Lorenzo Scupoli – XVI-XVII Century AD; Otranto, Kingdom of Naples/Naples, Kingdom of Naples; (aged 79-80); Priest; Spiritual Writer] “Point VIII ~ Of the hindrances to a Right Discernment of Things, and of the method to be adopted in order to understand them properly The cause of our not rightly discerning all these things and many others is, that we conceive a love or hatred of them at first sight. Our understanding is thus darkened, so that it cannot judge of them correctly. Lest you fall into this delusion, take all possible care to keep your will pure and free from inordinate affection for any thing whatsoever. When any object, then, is presented to you, view it with your understanding; and consider it maturely before you are moved by hatred to reject it, if it be a thing contrary to your inclinations, or by love to desire it, if it be pleasing to them. For thus the understanding, being unclouded by passion, will be free and clear, and able to perceive the truth, and to …More
Benedict XVI warned Cardinal Marx in 2021 that Germany's Synodal Way “will do harm and end badly if it is not stopped.” Marx apparently ignored the warning.
PRIME MINISTER MARK CARNEY JUST SAID IT OUT LOUD “I believe the progress that we have made and the partnership (with China) sets us up well for the New… World… Order.” Not rushed. Not off the cuff. He pauses between every word - New… World… Order - like he wants it to land. This wasn’t code. This wasn’t a slip. This was said out loud, on camera, deliberately.
Angelo Gugel, the longtime papal valet who worked for three popes, has died in Rome at the age of 90, reports Vatican media. Appointed in 1978 by John Paul I, the “33-day pope,” Gugel went on to serve John Paul II throughout his nearly 27-year pontificate. He retired at the beginning of the papacy of Benedict XVI, at the age of 70. Known for his immaculate appearance, he preserved strict discretion even after retirement. From the Gendarmerie to the Papal Household Born on 27 April 1935 in Miane, in Italy’s Veneto region, Gugel joined the Vatican Gendarmerie at the age of 20. After a serious bout of tuberculosis, he was transferred to the administration of the Vatican City State. Albino Luciani, his former bishop in Vittorio Veneto and a family acquaintance, personally chose him as valet after being elected pope. When John Paul I died unexpectedly on 28 September 1978, Gugel was among the few people present in the papal bedroom. At the Pope’s Side Around the World Gugel accompanied John …More

Archbishop John Bonaventure Kwofie of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra in Ghana has voiced concern over what he described as a growing influence of homosexuality and gay culture within Catholic Seminaries in West Africa, urging Rectors and other Formators to take decisive action and remain faithful to the Church’s teachings on priestly formation. In his Wednesday, January 14 speech at the opening of the 12th Regional Episcopal Conference of West Africa (RECOWA) Rectors’ Conference at St. Paul’s Catholic Seminary, Sowutuom in Accra, Archbishop Kwofie urged those entrusted with the formation of future Priests to carefully discern and nurture Priestly vocations from the outset, warning that inadequate formation at the entry level could contribute to the emergence of homosexual practices within Seminaries. “I am going to talk about one thing that is growing up like a monster in the Seminaries. Please do your best to weed out people of such orientation from our Seminaries because it …
Tucker Carlson — Sergey Karaganov Warning: Russia Will Nuke UK & Germany | 3 Minute Summary youtube.com/watch?v=vJrjh-eWr6A When the future of Europe and the rules that govern war collide, the consequences can be existential. Tucker Carlson sat down with a recorded statement from Sergey Karaganov, a longtime adviser to Vladimir Putin, and what emerged is a warning nobody should ignore. Karaganov’s admission on camera that "we, Russia, will eliminate the UK and Germany with nuclear weapons" if the Ukraine war proceeds at its present tempo reframes the entire conflict. Carlson walks listeners through the evidence: a public rewrite of Russia's nuclear doctrine, hypersonic strikes intended as signals, and official rhetoric that lowers thresholds for escalation. Under the new doctrine, Russia can lawfully target nonnuclear states acting as proxies. Carlson traces the deeper history: NATO expansion after two thousand one, a rejected Putin overture to join the alliance, and a series of misreads …More
Yes, they tried hard to destroy and weaken Russia for decades. But they only got stronger and richer. They are fighters and resilient and overcome everything. They are well protected by Heaven. A weapon no one can beat!
Well, Mike Adams was playing on his podcast excerpts of Tucker. He (Adams) said , (and has said this more than once) that if the Rus nuke the City of London, the whole world will rejoice and a great evil will be eliminated from the earth, a satanic evil.. I think though, and from my POV who live here..., where sin abounds, grace abounds even more..
I write today with a heavy heart about a personal faith-related discussion that I had yesterday with a local Vicar—the matter related to a material desecration that took place (of all days) on Christmas Day. A friend and I were both witnesses to it. While the incident was a misunderstanding, it was clearly and blatantly avoidable. Anyone with a discerning heart and mind could obviously see the circumstances that lent themselves to it. This same friend and I wrote a letter to the Vicar about it. We did receive an appointment to discuss the matter in person. However, by the end of the discussion, the vicar’s posture and message regarding the incident became clear. And, while not explicit, the general message was: “s#!t happens” For Catholics, the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith. Everything else is a distant second. It was the equivalent of hearing from the doctor charged with caring for your father or mother that they fell down the stairs during their hospital stay……More
An independent investigation has documented decades of spiritual abuse, psychological control, and systemic governance failures within the Benedictine Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre. The contemplative community is based at the Sacré-Cœur of Paris, France. Background and timeline The congregation, founded in the late 19th century in connection with the national vow and devotion to the Sacred Heart, is dedicated to liturgical prayer, perpetual adoration, and the reception of pilgrims at the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. In June 2021, the congregation initiated an internal review. In 2022, former members were formally included in the process. In February 2023, the sisters publicly acknowledged serious internal abuses, issued an apology, and requested an external investigation. The independent report, completed after 18 months of work, was published in January 2026. Scope of the investigation The commission conducted 159 interviews with current sisters, former members, priests, bishops …More
These “independent commissions” do not understand the meaning of suffering, sacrifice, and self-denial, and call all of this “abuse of power.” It is entirely in line with the post-conciliar church, which is trying to eliminate the cross from Christ's message.
President Trump on why he didn't strike Iran: "Nobody convinced me. I convinced myself. You had, yesterday, scheduled, over 800 hangings. They didn't hang anyone. They cancelled the hangings. That had a big impact."
When Machado gave President Trump HER peace medal, it was framed in a beautiful setting. It would have been very rude of him, and against Christian charity not to accept this freely given gift.
On 15 January, Catholics in the Diocese of Charlotte, North Carolina, prayed the Rosary publicly to protest against recent liturgical restrictions imposed by Bishop Michael Martin. These measures ban the use of kneelers for Communion, which will take effect on 16 January. The faithful gathered in front of the diocesan pastoral centre in an act of reparation.
January 15 in Charlotte, in the cold and in front of the chancery, faithful gathered to pray for our diocese, for Bishop Martin, and in reparation for his liturgical directives.
Concerned Citizen @BGatesIsaPyscho “Did they really ban Lead paint because it was toxic, or because it blocked their signals?” “For decades every home was coated in lead paint - lead is a natural shield against radiation and electromagnetic frequencies” Holy crap - this makes so much sense now…..everything is deliberate and engineered against us.
