This infamous event was directed by Barbara Butch, a lesbian activist who is known for playing Jesus Christ in the controversial opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics. According to a video published by TribuneChrétienne.com, the installation featured satanic sounds, overlapping voices, whispers, creaks, breathing and what the organisers described as an exploration of 'dark ideas', 'an unstable perception of reality' and a 'quasi-hypnotic' atmosphere. Inside the churches, there were voodoo-inspired masks, grotesque figures, and skeletal humanoid sculptures. One figure appeared to simulate masturbation near an altar.
