A house divided against itself cannot stand. The Catholic Church will either be completely homosexual or will condemn homosexual acts as the grievous sins they are. It can either be the Catholic Church or the Gay Church, it cannot be both at the same time.
Francis has completely lost the secular media. They had supported him because of their shared liberalism re sexual morality. His protection of his buddies who covered up for priest predation of early adolescent boys, however, has crossed the line. And the media loves stories about corruption in the Church.
