View of the village where St Dominic was born. The cloister around the tower is that of the Dominican friars and on the left is the cloister of the nuns with their church built over the site of Dominic's birth. The existing 16th-century church replaced one built by Dominic's brother, Blessed Mames de Guzman OP, in the 13th-century.
