Jesus’ healing miracles have inspired many of Mary Jane Miller's icons. Women where there at the miracle moments—whether it is the hemorrhaging woman holding fast to Jesus’ garment, or Martha and Mary at the raising of Lazarus—both situations highlight the human desperation to not be separated from healing and health. We see in these two event God’s compassionate response to our needs.
