The Procession walks past the medieval Slipper Chapel, where pilgrims traditionally paused and removed their footwear in preparation for walking the final mile into Walsingham. On 13 May 2018, the Dominican Family in England and Wales made their annual Pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham.
