Presentation of Our Lady.
Today's feast, on the 21st of November, commemorates the presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary as a child in the Temple. Tradition holds that all young Jewish girls were left in the care of the temple for a period of time, during which they were educated. This stained glass window is in the Mercy Convent chapel in Albany, NY.
