@Just me -I think I recognize that quote in bold type as from St.Francis of Assisi as he was dying. He even predicted the destruction of many religious Orders, and that his ow would be contaminated with the errors destroying all the others as well. I don't think he was speaking of his own time....or even 2-300 years in the future. Somehow I think the Lord let him see what would happen in our time, with Pope Francis. Pope Francis is the destroyer St. Francis of Assisi was speaking of. But if I remember correctly, the Saint also said that time time of the Destroyer would be relatively brief, followed by a true Pope who would correct the disaster. I think the next Pope will be the total opposite of Francis and his people, someone we should all pray for.

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori Yes, it is from St. Francis of Assisi. He was speaking of this time I am sure as well. And why we have to accept bergoglio is placed there by Christ to punish us. I also think he is there to separate the sheep from the goats. To see who will follow him or not. And this is why we can not call him, Priests, Cardinals, Bishops and any other religious names or put them down or anything so horrible and negative. We must accept all this and pray for forgiveness and to send a good Holy Catholic Pope. I don't recall about sending a Pope to fix the problems though. Let's hope so. Just try to control your thoughts and heart on what and how you think of them. They are so pathetic and sad. They need our prayers. I don't have to deal with such things in my area as far as I know. and in my Church I know I have good Priests of the SSPX. Pray! And get a good loving heart. We need to do this. Love is the most important thing to have right now. And forgiveness. And never forget, if Christ gives us a bad Pope, we have no right to call him names or put him down. To fight against him. of course. But not to attack him. After all, Christ sent him.

As Fr. Ripperger is now famous for saying, a spiritual chastisement always precedes a physical chastisement.

We're not going to win this war with uncharitable comments online, even toward our enemies. May God grant Pope Francis the vision to see what he is doing, and thereby convert, and lead more souls to Christ.

Accuracy in reporting private revelation is extremely important. The next pope will not be the one to correct the disaster. The chastisement is coming because without it we cannot correct the disaster. Only divine intervention can do that now. The next pope will help bring about God's kingdom on Earth, after the disaster is corrected. But we may have several years without a pope in the meantime.

Another part of the same prophecy is also important: "the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who obey the true Supreme Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity."

We must strive to have charity in all our dealings now.

@Strong and Steadfast I didn't think there was going to be another Pope to correct anything. Thank you for confirming that. As far as him converting goes, some say he can not be helped because he sinned against The Holy Ghost. They explained it but I forgot what they said. We can not obey this man. He is leading too many souls to hell. He hates Catholicism and he is trying to destroy it. We need to turn from him. I don't call him names. I don't hate him nor dislike him. But I don't care for all the ugly things he says. And the lies that spew from his mouth. That I don't care for at all. So I just ignore him so I don't upset myself. As well as all the others who are sinning against GOD and leading souls to hell. Pray for their conversions and reversions and that is all we should do. Love is the most important thing we need to have at a time like this. Also forgiveness, charity, humility and understanding.

@Just me Thanks for responding. I should clarify that my comment regarding the next pope is only my own opinion, but that which makes the most sense to me.

I agree, we cannot turn from Tradition. We cannot side with those who seek to destroy the Mass, because then we side with satan. It's clear he is not a good pope.

I also agree, forgiveness is key. Especially within our families, but also extending up to the top of the magisterium. It's entirely possible that Pope Francis is not actually a pope. Again, I dare not make that assertion myself. But like you said, we deserve him, even if he is not the pope.
