Jewish Journalist Dresses up as Franciscan to Experience Jewish Hatred

Yossi Levi of Israeli TV Channel 13 donned a Franciscan habit and accompanied a real Franciscan, Brother Alberto Pari, through the streets of Jerusalem.

They had been walking for five minutes when they were spat at for the first time.

Then they were taunted by a man.

After this, an eight-year-old Jewish boy spat at them. On Mount Sion, a place where Jewish attacks on Christians are common, they met a group of Israeli soldiers. One of them spat at their feet.

The journalist couldn't take it anymore, took off his Franciscan habit and rebuked the soldiers.

"Imagine how these Jews would have reacted if a Christian had spat at them in Europe", Levi commented.
