NORD- UND OST-SYRIEN - Mehrere politische Parteien und religiöse Geistliche in Nord- und Ostsyrien haben öffentlich die anhaltenden türkischen Angriffe auf die Region verurteilt, die zur Tötung von Zivilisten und Soldaten sowie zur Zerstörung von privatem und öffentlichem Eigentum geführt haben.
Der syrisch-orthodoxe Erzbischof von Gozarto (Dschazira) und vom Euphrat, Mor Maurice Amsih, verurteilte die türkischen Angriffe in einer Stellungnahme gegenüber Suroyo TV mit den Worten
"Inmitten dieser harten Bedingungen, die die Region Gozarto (Dschazira) durchlebt, verkörpert durch die barbarischen türkischen Angriffe auf wehrlose Zivilisten, Klöster und Kirchen in den Städten von Gozarto, fordern wir die Vereinten Nationen und internationale Organisationen auf, den türkischen Angriffen ein Ende zu setzen, damit die Menschen in Nord- und Ostsyrien Sicherheit und Frieden in der gesamten Region genießen können."

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA - Several political parties and religious clerics in northern and eastern Syria have publicly condemned the ongoing Turkish attacks on the region, which have resulted in the killing of civilians and soldiers and the destruction of private and public property.
The Syriac Orthodox Archbishop of Gozarto (Jazira) and of the Euphrates, Mor Maurice Amsih, condemned the Turkish attacks in a statement to Suroyo TV, saying.
"In the midst of these harsh conditions that the Gozarto (Jazira) region is experiencing, epitomised by the barbaric Turkish attacks on defenceless civilians, monasteries and churches in the towns of Gozarto, we call on the United Nations and international organisations to put an end to the Turkish attacks so that the people of northern and eastern Syria can enjoy security and peace throughout the region."
