Major Fire Ravages Historic Church

A fire raged in St Brigitta Catholic Church in Noorbeek, Roermond Diocese, Netherlands, on Wednesday.

The sanctuary and the organ are severely damaged. Nobody was injured.

The cause of the fire is not yet known. The church was built in the 13th century and was renovated several times in the last centuries.
