As of today, the situation in Argentina is deteriorating rapidly. Inflation is well over 100% and the Peronist administration continues to pile up blunders that make the situation worse. Since President Mauricio Macri allowed the de-penalization of abortion some years ago, a drought of biblical proportions goes on unabated. The moral landscape has converted the country in what Monsignor Aguer (former Archbishop of La Plata) called “a society of fornicators”. He was not exaggerating. I for one, am believing that the time seen prophetically by St. Luigi Orione in the 1930’s is approaching fast. This is a strong sign for all of us because the final dissolution of the world, according to Fr. Orione, is to begin here in the peripheries.
