Gänswein Becomes A Nuncio

Archbishop Georg Gänswein will become an apostolic nuncio in Costa Rica, reports ReligionDigital.org (March 21).

Last week, the Holy See asked the government of the Central American country for an approval. If, as usual, there is no official response, Rome will appoint Gänswein.

Costa Rica lies between Nicaragua and Panama. It has a population of 5.1M. Only 52% are still Catholic. Apparently, Francis wanted Gänswein as far away from Rome as possible.

I hope he doesn't gush and grovel saying "Oh thank you, Holy Father, I am loyal to you, Holy Father!" Better for Ganswein to give the middle finger to "Holy Father"/

Sounds like one heck of a cushy retirement package.

At least he won't be near the gay Vatican bath house any longer.
