Please correct me where I have made the wrong conclusion from your own comments. At the very least you seem to sympathize with Freemasonry - the enemy and vehicle of the enemy - or consider some lodges innocuous. At worst perhaps a member yourself.
Discerning the differences between the multitude of Masonic Lodges in numerous countries reveals differences in motivations for their existence. Only a few can be determined as being 'at constant war with the Catholic Church'.
Was not the USA war of independence primarily instigated by masons? Your constitution too? [Apart from John Adams, that is.] All the founding fathers had no problem asking Catholic France for help. True or not?
