Vatican prosecutors have filed charges against Cardinal Angelo Becciu and nine other defendants who will face trial for financial corruption.
The charges include the London property deal. The first hearing is scheduled for July 27.
Among the indicted are two Italian brokers, Raffaele Mincione, and Gianluigi Torzi and Cecilia Marogna, 40, who worked for Becciu.
The second cleric among the defendants is Monsignore Mauro Carlino, a former senior staffer in the Secretariat of State.
The charges include embezzlement, abuse of office, fraud, extortion, corruption and money laundering.
Becciu said in a statement that he was a victim of a "machination" and reaffirmed his "absolute innocence".
