Austrian Bishop - Admirer of Crucified Frog - Calls Crucified Trump "Perversion"

Bishop Hermann Glettler, 60, from Innsbruck, Austria, finds the depiction of Trump on the cross simply perverse. The work will temporarily disfigure the train station in Basel starting on September 6.

Monsignor Glettler expressed his outrage to kath.ch: “Do they want to increase the power-hungry egomaniac dealmaker from Washington's influence with the central Christian symbol? Trump strapped to the cross as the savior or as a martyr in orange prison clothes shortly before his execution? Yes, please, are you serious?!”

Bishop Gletter himself is notorious for simply perverse products. He has praised a crucified frog (2019). He had a clock installed in the church with the arms of the crucified Savior serving as hands (2019). Furthermore, he allowed a half-naked homosexual as an altarpiece in one of his churches (2022) and a pig's heart in a condom in another church (2023).
