Leo XVI Appoints Archbishop "Committed to the Cry of the Earth"
On October 18, Pope Leo XVI appointed Monsignor Carlos Tomás Morel Diplán, 56, as the new Archbishop of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
Monsignor Diplán holds a licentiate in moral theology from the leftwing Pontifical Alphonsian Academy in Rome. Pope Francis appointed him auxiliary bishop of Santiago de los Caballeros in 2016, and Bishop of La Vega in October 2024.
A Shepherd for the Environment
Monsignor Diplán has remained largely silent on dogmatic or moral controversies, focusing instead on ecological themes. He has urged the faithful to act as “custodians of the planet,” denouncing economic exploitation and environmental injustice.
Even at his installation as Bishop of La Vega, he addressed local environmental challenges, especially those linked to mining - advocating for sustainable resource management that upholds both social and environmental justice.

2 Jn 1, 9-11
"If anybody does not keep within the teaching of Christ but goes beyond it, he
cannot have God with him: only those who keep to what he taught can have the
Father and the Son with them. If anyone comes to you bringing a different doctrine,
you must not receive him in your house or even give him a greeting. To greet him
would make you a partner in his wicked work."
Oh, the cry of the earth! I suggest this phony Vatican try to save souls by spreading the real Catholic faith. They would rather die than do that.
So THAT'S how he got elected. Becomes a cardinal only a year before and then pope to follow his buddy Jorge. The fix WAS in. Sold his soul. These folks really don't believe any of this faith stuff.
