@Prayhard Nope... unless NAB is required reading and bears a high grade impact for theology students (IMO).
I believe that the Douay-Rheims version is used at the TLM.
Actually the parish priest doesn't know what translation. His words were 'some American translation, I think.' Fr puts great effort into singing the Epistle and Gospel, and appears to put little stock in the matter, for at times, Douay-Rheims Challoner or Knox seems to be used.
