Dr. Adrian Zenz Shares His Insight on the Crimes Against the Uyghur in China | EWTN News Nightly

The United States declared the Chinese government's actions against the Uyghur population have amounted to genocide and crimes against humanity. Former Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, tweeted in part, "These acts are an affront to the Chinese people and to civilized nations everywhere. The People's Republic of China and the CCP must be held to account." Senior Fellow in China Studies at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, Dr. Adrian Zenz, joins to talk about his findings when studying the plight facing the Uyghur, including forced manual labor and population control. A week ago, the U.S. announced a full and total ban on cotton and tomato products from Xinjiang. Dr. Zenz explains the significance of this and what the implications are. He shares whether this ban will help bring an end to what is happening in Xinjiang. President Joe Biden's nominee for Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has said he agrees with Pompeo's assessment that China is committing genocide against the Uyghur. The senior fellow in China Studies also says what he thinks can be expected from the Biden Administration on this front and what kind of international responses we are likely to see when it comes to advocating on behalf of the Uyghur population.
