SURVIVING APOSTASY: An Urgent Appeal to the King and Queen of Heaven

Thumbnail Artwork: "Christ Meets the Virgin Mary on the Way to Calvary" by Bartolome Esteban Murillo (1618-1682). In this Sermon from South Saint Paul, Father speaks of the great signs of a spiritual revival in the traditional Catholic Church, despite the Great Apostasy. He encourages us to adopt a warrior's stance by putting on the armor of God and the habit of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Concluding with reference to Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, Father offers advice for how we survive the apostasy in the Catholic Church despite the disastrous leadership of Francis. Put on the armor of God and the habit of the Queen of Heaven. Stay Connected to RTV. Christians must hold to every statement of the Nicene Creed to hold the Faith. It is all or nothing. At least that is what was once taught.

When one repudiates the natural law and the authority of the Church you have repudiated everything. To not be an apostate one must believe all that God commands,to pick and choose is to make yourself god and an apostate.

The Church explicitly disagrees. Repudiating the authority of the Church is schism. It is not apostasy. Disbelieving one or more divine truth is not apostasy, either. It is heresy. I linked Canon Law for a reason. :/

You need to do more home work! Schism is rejecting the authority of the pope not the church. When you believe men can marry men and same sex relationships are ok and abortion is no worse than social injustice , and that the word of God and the authority of the church need not be followed you are an apostate.

"You need to do more home work! Schism is rejecting the authority of the pope not the church." You should take your own advice before assuming I have not done so. ;-)

It seems my linking the law was not enough. I truly must quote it.

"schism is the refusal of submission to the Supreme Pontiff or of communion with the members of the Church subject to him."

Canon Law 751 states "apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith." To date, no one within The Church's current leadership has totally repudiated the Christian faith. The accusation of "apostasy" is made entirely too frequently and more often than not, just as inaccurately. There is some irony in making an error while condemning the errors of others.
