Brandmüller: The Mess Benedict Created With His Resignation, Will Only Be Resolved By His Death

Benedict XVI officially retired "to pray in silence" but has broken this announcement many times, Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, 91, told EdwardPentin.co.uk (March 7), “This is what destroys so much.”
Brandmüller notices that a "Pope Emeritus" never existed in Church history nor in Canon Law, and Benedict now discovers the consequences of what he has done. This situation will ultimately only be resolved by Benedict's death, Brandmüller believes.
Referring to an anonymous senior Vatican source, Pentin writes that some cardinals pressed Secretary of State Cardinal Bertone in 2013 to clarify the canonical status of a former pope to avoid problems, but “nothing was done.”

Of course, if Ratzinger and Bergoglio caught the crown virus, perhaps that would change the situation? Well, absolutely not! And why not? That's for everyone to answer!
foward
Bergoglio must leave now. But Benedict is not a Pope. We have to have a true Pope who will abolish the Second Vatican Council formally.

Suppose "Bergoglio" follows your advice. What then? A new flock of crazy parrots will claim he didn't "really" resign, either. Benedict's own resignation proved delusional people simply will re-interpret Canon Law to say whatever they want it to say. They'll invent a requirement that doesn't even exist in Canon Law like "the resignation must use the word 'munus'" and then repeat it endlessly.

Laurelmarycecilia noted the same thing I did several months ago. How many Cardinals were appointed by Pope Francis? Could they lawfully vote for the next Pope? Even if precedent allows them to do so, the nay-sayers and nut-cases will always use that as an excuse to "invalidate" a Pope they dislike.

Expect the following : "Pope Such 'n Such was elected by Cardinals illicitly appointed by schismatic heretic annie-pope Bergoglio the intrinsic enemy of da hooman race! Pope Such 'n Such doesn't real!!!" And if the nay-sayers and nut-cases on GTV are any example, you can expect it squawked in CAPS LOCK, WITH SOLID BOLD, ITALICS AND ENTIRELY UNDERLINED as well. :P
foward
What then? Let us pray that a Pope who has Catholic faith simply comes out. Only God can solve this situation.
Meanwhile, Bergoglio must be told openly that he is heretical.
In addition, through the mouth of his spokesman, Scalfari, he already said that he does not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

People complicate simple reality to justify ossified position and support fear for consequence of truth. The simplest way to explain truth would be to say pope Benedict XVI I love you, pope Benedict I pray for you and pope Benedict XVI I care for you. We are living times when children have rejected their only true Triune God, their true biological fathers and their true pope as consequence of the first. It is apogee of hatred for truth and love of falsehood.

I have another view..... if Pope Benedict dies before Bergolio, that crisis which now troubles the Catholic world, will reach a crisis period. A conclave will be called, the majority of participants will be cardinals appointed by Bergolio. How can these cardinals be valid electors? By extension, how could this successor be validly pope? Resolved??? I don't think so

The same also applies to a scenario where, say, both Benedict -and- Francis die within days of each other. Who elects the next Pope? Cardinals appointed by Francis, Benedict, JPII... and critics have found plenty of examples of supposed heresies condemning each of these Popes.
