Today is the Feast of Blessed Manés de Guzmán, O.P., the Brother of St. Dominic. In 1217, Blessed Manés became one of the first fifteen Friars of the Order of Preachers. On the 13th of July 1234, he attended the Canonisation of his Brother, Saint Dominic.
