Russian Orthodox Metropolitan Reassigned to Brazil Amid Drug Investigation

Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeyev, 59, once one of the most influential figures in the Russian Orthodox community, has been reassigned to Brazil following a drug-related investigation in the Czech Republic.

The Moscow Patriarchate announced that he will serve two Russian Orthodox parishes in southern Brazil. He could no longer continue his ministry in Europe for "objective reasons."

Hilarion had already been removed from his position of leadership in the Russian Orthodox community in 2024, after a former male assistant accused him of homosexual misconduct. Pictures revealed that he had been living a lavish lifestyle, including hoarding money and property.

The recent move follows Hilarion's detention by Czech police in late May.

Acting on an anonymous tip, officers reportedly found four containers of white powder in the trunk of his car. Authorities later confirmed the substance was cocaine.

Hilarion was held for two days before being released without charges and returning to Russia.

Czech police say the investigation remains ongoing.

As with the homosexual accusation, the metropolitan denies any wrongdoing. He was “the victim of a provocation”.

Russian Orthodox are in Schism, they broke away from the One True Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church outside of which there is no salvation. Russia is what we should be now. We are what NON RUSSIANS brought into Russia. And Russia is totally Blessed. It has now switched. Remember this. Sister Lucia warned about communism. Am I correct? You know I am. She never, ever said, the Russian schism will spread across the world. She didn't warn about RUSSIANS! But communism which was brought into the world by NON RUSSIANS! That's what the errors were. The Blessed Mother loves Russians and they are held tightly in her loving and gentle hands. Remember also Pope Saint Pius V called for an inquisition. That's how serious protestantism is. If anyone in the Church ever said that. I never heard it. If you know of anyone in the Church that said it. I would like to know. But what is one compared to dozens? And GOD and His Holy Mother.
One more thing. Pope Pius Xl knew that Russia was sinned against, MORE than Russia ever sinned. And if you were honest, you would admit it as well.

Did you catch that part about the ones to slaughter souls? Interesting I don't see anything about him mentioning Russian Orthodox doing that. He said, protestanism.
That's coming from not only the most Holiest Pope we ever had. But he is also a GREAT SAINT! He never said, it was Russian Orthodox. He said protestantism. He reached out to Russia. Not protestants. So, who should I believe? I great and Holy Saint and Pope. Or just someone who hates Russia and Putin. I will have to choose My Church and My Saintly Pope. So sorry. Funny those who condemn THE ROC never condemns protestantism. Which our Popes were ALWAYS CONDEMNING!

Because of his influence, maybe someone wants to get rid of him? As SonoftheChurch said, setting him up. But even if guilty, one must remember, there is always one bad apple in the barrel. Yet there are always some who first accuse and condemn and don't care for facts and results first. They don't believe in innocent till proven guilty. They already have the noose waiting. People like some on gtv think if they keep saying a lie it will become reality. That if they say enough lies enough times, the people will believe it. That's what we call propaganda. GOD has their number and the sad part is, they don't care. They keep pushing their hatred and lies. No one controls either, the Kremlin or The Orthodox Church.
As Putin would say, I rather be alone and be proven right. He is his own man. He will stick with his decisions and NO ONE at all can change his mind. NO ONE can control him. And that's what the propagandist hate about him. One reason that is, the other is jealousy as he has made his country beautiful and prosperous and brought Faith back to the people. He is fighting against the globalist elites and the one world order.

They can't deal with that so they make up a bunch of weak, lame excuses and accusations. They side with the evil governments and elites and those who are for the new world order. They sound exactly like them. Which exposes them for what they are. And they are exposed everyday.
Never any proof. Just a lot of accusations and lies. Ask for proof and they hand us bloggers who make up whatever they want. Just like fake news and evil governments and leaders. They twist, edit and change, remove and add what they want. When those things are debunked, they become vicious and attack us for exposing their propaganda they push on the people. That too says a lot about them.
