Just like Angels
Gospel of Sunday November 6. XXXII of the Ordinary Time

The provocative question of the Sadducees, that the passage from Luke's Gospel, we're going to listen to next Sunday, relate about, allows Jesus to disclose something of the amazing plan God has got for those who love Him:

“The children of this age marry and remarry; but those who are deemed worthy to attain to the coming age and to the resurrection of the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. They can no longer die, for they are like angels; and they are the children of God because they are the ones who will rise.

In this regard, St. Paul who, by special divine concession, had visited the "future world" with enthusiasm, affirms: Im persuaded brothers, "that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Rom 8 , 18)
