Just Before Holy Week: Bishop Condemns Mass to Death

Corpus Christi Bishop William Mulvey, 73, Texas, has "forbidden" the Roman Mass in Corpus Christi's Saint John the Baptist Parish.

Father Rodolfo Vasquez told the faithful on March 31 that the Mass “has come to an end.” Only two more Masses were “allowed”, Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday,

“We all knew that this was coming sooner or later, and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done," Vasquez claims, "the decisions are now solely carried out at the Vatican.” This is a false statement, as most bishops and priests do not follow Francis' authoritarian whims.

In Acts 5:27, St Peter and the apostles respond to the Jewish high priest who "forbade" them to teach in Christ's name, "We must obey God rather than men."
