I wonder whether her body was llifted (ascension) or buried.

I believe she spent her last days with The Apostles in the upper room where Christ had His last Supper with them. There is no better place than the place Christ instituted The Holy Mass. Offering up His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity to GOD The Father!
