Father Patrick Pullicino, 73, ordained in 2019, a former professor of neurosciences and brain surgeon, has sued the UK's National Health Service.
Pullicino was dismissed as a hospital chaplain in 2019 for answering a question from a mental health patient living in homosexual sin about the Church's teaching on marriage.
In a letter to the homosexual, Vanessa Ford, Chief Executive of the South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust, stated that its policy on “equality and diversity” [= homosexualism] “takes precedence over religious belief.”
“In a democratic society where all faiths and beliefs are respected, I would not have been treated as I was,” Pullicino told Telegraph.co.uk (March 11).
The case is due to be heard at Croydon Employment Tribunal in July.
