Next Version: Bronchitis...

The Vatican issued another version of Francis' health on Thursday evening.

Francis devoted the afternoon to "rest, prayer and some work", according to this idyllic report, which claims that he has "infectious bronchitis" which is being controlled with antibiotics.

He is currently on an intravenous drip and is expected to return to his hotel "in the next few days".

During yesterday's general audience, there was no sign that Francis was suffering from bronchitis, the typical symptom of which is a cough. On the contrary, he spoke with a strong voice and full of energy.

Bronchitis sufferer here. Bouts of bronchitis mean unstoppable coughing to the point of despair and inability to sleep. They usually last several weeks. At least that has been my experience.

Francis does not have bronchitis. Vatican hide-n-seek tactic...."we'll hide the real reason, and you have to find it! Everyone in the Vatican KNOWS it's way worse.
