Explain how the two quotes I provided from the current Pope constitute "silence", Gesu. If you can't, then your own citation is irrelevant to the discussion.

Are people here thinking this is positive from the Bp?

Therein, the congregation admonished bishops to ensure they are “clearly stating that homosexual activity is immoral.” The instruction adds, “But we wish to make it clear that departure from the Church's teaching, or silence about it, in an effort to provide pastoral care is neither caring nor pastoral. Only what is true can ultimately be pastoral. The neglect of the Church's position prevents them from receiving the care they need and deserve.”

"same sex unions, for example, may not simply be equated with marriage. No union that is temporary or closed to the transmission of life can ensure the future of society.” Imagine the cheering on GTV if Archbishop Vigano had said that. :P Or if he pointed out that the Church's notion of pity, "does not mean approving of homosexual acts, not in the least."

The comments would be overflowing with praise Abp Vigano's defense of the Church's Magisterium. Why won't "Bergoglio" ever say things like that, eh? Why indeed? ;-)

This makes no difference unfortunately. Francis is called to tell people that it is sinful behaviour. Until he does that these attempts to redress the balance are not going to undo the scandal that the Church has suffered

Until Francis teaches/preaches like a Pope usually does, and hates the sin enough to TELL people to refrain from committing it - these vain shows of seeking to clarify his wrongdoings are just likely to appear as if he's edging the Church along, bit by bit, scandal by scandal, to permit homosexual Priests, Bishops, Gay Marriages, and everything else we are taught is grave error in the Bible. After each attempt to rock the boat and normalise gay unions, he takes a step back. It's a common occurrence, we are not fools, neither are we friends of those who accept money from Communist Government affiliates to shut down the RC Church.

To be perfectly honest - James Martin is an outsider of the RC Church, he wishes to permit gay marriage and all the rest of the Gay agenda incorporating it all into the RC Church. Has Francis ever defrocked him? Has he had him publicly reprimanded?

NO! So - don't bother trying to pour oil on waters SO TROUBLED by the deeds, words and infamies of this Communist supporting leftist anti-Pope. Who never sees sin where CHRIST says it is - on the contrary he praises the LGBT adherents and chastises the pious Faithful.. So a big "No" to is he speaking/acting with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Sorry - your Eminence. The Church is waking up! Go and wrestle with the Devil possessing Francis and tell him to step aside so a new and Holy Pope can offer us his spiritual guidance.

God bless you for hoping to explain things. In Christ.
