Novelties after novelties lead to the ultimate destruction of catholic life. Belgium now is one of the most secular countries of Europe. There are more Muslims going to mosque than catholics going to Mass and Muslims only make up for 6% of the population. The bishops are invisible and the cardinal hasn't been seen for two years. Even with Covid it stayed silent.
No vocations and remaining faithful are 65+ years old. And still you hear: It's wrong for the Church to hold on to the past. This ridiculous sentence is ironically very true: It's wrong for the Church to hold on to the sixties and seventies Era which is dominating every bit of catholic life.
