Curia Cardinal Marc Ouellet strongly rejects allegations of sexual assault against him contained in a class-action lawsuit filed this week in Quebec Superior Court (Friday evening statement, VaticanNews.va).
The alleged inappropriate touching in public is said to have occurred more than ten years ago.
Ouellet counters, “Having learned of the false accusations made against me by the complainant (F.), I firmly deny having made any inappropriate gestures toward her and I consider defamatory the interpretation and dissemination of these allegations as sexual assault.”
If a civil investigation is launched, he said he will actively participate in it to ensure that the truth is established and his innocence is recognised.
It is amusing to see a representative of Francis' Novus Ordo group which is deeply committed to relativism, invoking the unalterable concept of "truth".

I slightly doubt it. I suspect at least some if not most of those who would vote for Ouellet would be closer to vote for Sarah or Erdo. Ouellet split the Conservative vote with Scola in 2013.
Regardless, Sarah or Erdo are the better candidates.

YES SIR!! Tagle is entangled in the Gracias' case big time. There go his chances to be Pope. I'd like to see 2-3 more scandals to really knock filth like him out of the running.

Interesting thing is that real orthodox cardinals like Burke, Sarah, Ranjith and Erdo aren't tained by scandals the same way as Tagle and now Ouellet, or even the carehome scandal of Grech.
