THE BLESSED SOULS
OF PURGATORY

For the signal...
INITIAL SENTENCE
O Mary, Mother of mercy: remember the children you have in purgatory and, presenting our suffrages and your merits to your Son, intercede so that he may forgive them their debts and take them out of those darkness into the admirable light of his glory, where they enjoy your sweetest sight and that of your blessed Son.
O glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, intercede together with your Wife before your Son for the souls of purgatory. Amen.
It is read about every day.
DAY 1
Meditation
EXISTENCE OF PURGATORY
Death is certain. The great decree by virtue of which all men must die is already given. Any other misfortune can be avoided, but death never, there is no state that is free of it, neither age, nor condition, nor sex, nor any other human defense. From the first to the last of the men they have to see their sunset, and many have already reached him, others follow them, and all of them, like the water that slides, we will finally fall into the tomb without remedy, and in the meantime what do we do, O Christians! Let's prepare for the inevitable end that awaits us; oh how bitter death will not be if we do not prepare in time to receive it! With death you leave this world and go to the next life, and what is there in the afterlife? Faith teaches us that there is a Paradise. A Hell, a Purgatory.
The perfect souls, not guilty, not debtors of sorrow, free from the bonds of the body, to the point, fly to enjoy in Paradise. Souls stained with serious guilt, are dragged by the weight of their iniquities to Hell to receive the deserved punishment of Divine Justice. Oh, what a diversity between each other! Those eternally blessed, with God; these condemned forever, with demons. Which of these two fortunes do we want?, in our hands is the choice: if we want Paradise with the righteous, let us live as the righteous live; if Hell horrifies us, let us flee from the sin that leads to Hell. But if the soul surprised by death were not in mortal sin, nor in the most perfect justice, but in a middle state, so to speak, and for which it could not be condemned to Hell for not being worthy of so much pain, nor be introduced later to Paradise for not being worthy yet of so much glory, where will it go? This is the need to establish an intermediate place between Heaven and Hell, a place not of term but of transit, where the souls of the faithful deceased, like gold is purified from the scum, are also purified and perfected for glory. Now, in this place most of the souls that are saved fall, and few get rid of it, because there are few who are not contaminated with the worldly dust; do we want to avoid it? Let's purify ourselves perfectly in this life, assuming that whoever comes out purified from it flies directly to Heaven.
Prayer
Oh, Heaven, Honey, you attract us powerfully with your awards! Hell, Hell, you scare us horribly with your punishments! Purgatory, Purgatory, you fill us with compassion and pity for your sorrows! Hear, O great God, our supplications: close for all the faithful the doors of the horrible abyss, open for them those of blessed glory and deliver, O Lord!, from their sorrows all the souls that are in Purgatory, call them to enjoy with you the inmarcible crown of eternal happiness.Eternal Father, for the most precious blood of Jesus, mercy.

Let's pray. Oh my God, of whom it is proper to have compassion and forgiveness: we beg you pleading for the souls of your servants whom you have ordered to migrate from this world, especially for the souls of our relatives, friends and benefactors (they can be named by their proper name), so that you do not leave them in purgatory, but that you order your holy angels to take them and take them to the homeland of paradise, so that, because they waited and believed in you, they do not suffer the sorrows of purgatory, but possess the eternal joys. For Christ our Lord. Amen.
V. Give them, Lord, eternal rest.
R. And shine for them perpetual light.
V. Rest in peace.
R. Amen.
