Consistory Done Like Middle School - Leo XIV Is Responsible

Journalists Raymond Arroyo and Robert Royal, and canon lawyer and priest Gerald Murray of New York talked on January 16 about the consistory of January 7-8. A short sequence, video below.

Robert Royal commenting on Cardinal Grech’s contribution on synod:
I think you hear that and you say, what in God’s name can that possibly mean? This is the gobbledygook we’ve been listening to for years about synodality and all this confusion. I mean, one of the things I’ve heard from sources is that many of these cardinals have said, "Look, we’re just confused about this. We’re tired of going over the same things again and again." These pronouncements keep coming out.

When I read Cardinal Grech, I said to myself: This guy knows they haven’t gotten anything substantial done. You can try to preserve the illusion that there’s somehow a dynamic age of the Spirit underway, but it’s about to die.

Raymond Arroyo:
Well, he says there are good fruits here. He says fruits are blooming all over the place.

Robert Royal:
Where are they? I mean, I don’t see them. I don’t know. In my diocese, I don’t see them in the Church in the United States. From at least some of the sources I’ve been in contact with, the cardinals really think that the dynamic edge of what’s going on is something quite different from what he was talking about—whatever in God’s name that was.

Raymond Arroyo:
I agree with you. I read the Grech piece. I read all these statements from Fernández, Grech, Roche—my hair was on fire reading them. It’s stupid. Half of it nobody can make sense of.
But Father, this is being done in the name of—and presumably with the permission of—Pope Leo, who’s running the show now and called the meeting, yes?

Father Gerald Murray:
Leo XIV is responsible for it. In fact, he set the four-topic agenda for the meeting. I am encouraged that the next meeting will be three to four days long. I just hope they drop this—how should I put it—middle school social science approach, where the students sit down with coloring books, match-the-dots exercises, and are told: "Okay, here are your ten topics—connect them all." Then, at the end, one student stands up to speak for everyone else. I hope that ends.

POPE LEO’S PRESENT INTERPRETATION OF VATICAN COUNCIL II IS HERETICAL AND SCHISMATIC AND DISQUALIFIES HIM FROM OFFERING HOLY MASS
POPE LEO’S PRESENT INTERPRETATION OF VATICAN …

The speakers avove interpret Vatican Council II with the Rahner LG 16 error .It is the same with thee Synods and Consistory. This is also the deceptive policy of EWTN which the speakers are prudently maintaining.

Watch the video. It is funny.
