There is no denial from Archbishop Salvatore Rino Fisichella. He agrees with. LG 8, 14, 16 etc refer to hypothetical cases only So Vatican Council II does not contradict Ad Gentes 7 which says all need faith and baptism for salvation. Neither does it contradict the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the Athanasius Creed. The Council is traditional and ecclesiocentric.- Lionel Andrades
