Without Hysteria and Hypocrisy: Trappist Sister Speak Out About War in Ukraine

Trappist Mother Marta Luisa and her four sisters in Azer-Syria, Syria, marked in March the 11th “painful anniversary” of the war in Syria (500’000 dead; 6,6 Million refugees) initiated and kept alive by Western regimes and “passed over in silence” by their oligarchs’ media.

In Idleb which is under control of Turkey/NATO “the remaining Christians are subjected to harsh conditions and deprivation,” the sisters write on OraProSiria.Blogspot.com (March 31).

There is also the US occupation of East Syria to steal the country's oil “Israel's missile attacks continue unabated in the general silence of the [oligarchs’] media.”

Because of the Western sanctions, 85% of the population lives below the poverty line. A carton of eggs costs 13,000 Syrian lire (basic salary: 100,000). The West wants “instability” necessary to maintain its evil plans, the sisters write,

“Today, from Syria, we see with concern the irresponsibility with which our Western countries, and Italy in the front row, forget the power of diplomacy and reason to avoid (and at least stop) the Ukrainian war (which could have been avoided, it could have been foreseen for years ...) and boldly launch into supplies of weapons that, we can tell you from experience, once loaded and placed in the hands of civilians, continue to shoot and make victims for years.”
