Made-Up Rift: Will Leo XIV Trash Francis' Marian Document?

On 3 July, Cardinal Víctor Manuel Fernández, author of soft porn and Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, announced that the Dicastery he leads will soon publish a document on 'various Marian themes'.

This document is intended as a follow-up to the new norms on supernatural phenomena published in May 2024 which, filled with jargon, shifted the focus from assessing the supernatural nature of particular phenomena to assessing their "pastoral" impact.

On 11 August, MondayVatican.com reported that Leo XIV had seen the new document and refused to approve it, requesting substantial changes.

"This is just a rumour, fuelled by those seeking signs of an open discontinuity between Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV", the website commented.

And: "Fernández seems to want to put pressure on Leo XIV to ensure that everything prepared under Pope Francis is published."

The Vatican has been 'slicing the baloney very thin' in this and the preceding pontificates. Fairly soon, the Vatican may need to designate the Blarney Stone as a Holy site.

oh, it isn't?

Nothing new needs to be published, especially from Fernandez and his enablers. We should all be reading or re-reading the Bible, the Catechism and the lives of the saints. There are plenty of solid encyclicals already published, and much too much media attention.

Perhaps in this document the pornographer wants to place all future apparitions of the Virgin Mary under his vile control. For example, perhaps he wants to establish a rule that any revelation that points to apostasy in the Vatican and its promotion of all types of heresies should be considered false.
