Finally, Garabandal fits our modern world like a key fits a lock. Respecting the churchmen’s free-will, Almighty God allows them to go horribly wrong as the end of the world approaches. But the shepherds’ going astray generates huge confusion among the sheep, Catholic and non-catholic alike. To all of them He offers an extraordinary event, freeing them from all confusion, before they have to answer …More

But the shepherds’ going astray generates huge confusion among the sheep, Catholic and non-catholic alike. To all of them He offers an extraordinary event, freeing them from all confusion, before they have to answer at death for how they will have spent their lives. What a grace ! And it will be confirmed by the great Miracle, due to take place in Garabandal itself, and exceeding the miracle of the sun spinning, in 1917, at Fatima.

Bishop[?] Williamson, a source of truth. That says it all. Dare you to block me like the other cowards calling themselves Catholic yet cannot handle a different viewpoint to their own? So much for their outcries against censorship in the secular press. Interestingly, a certain blogger, who currently has me blocked, hadn't dared to keep me blocked when UltraViolet was around. As the latter advised me, "It has been my experience that people who block others are scared of an articulated opposing position." How true that has played out.

This English bishop appears to promote a number of alleged apparitions - Poem of the Man God comes to mind - that have been condemned as unworthy of belief by the Church (and the pre-Vatican II Church at that). I'm curious - does he promote the message of Fatima and Lourdes? Does he make it his mission to really promote what the Church DOES say is worthy of belief?

P.s. Can fellow Catholics actually block you on these posts? I thought that was the sole duty of the Moderator. Besides, I was under the impression that Gloria TV was for a mature and respectful exchange of ideas...?

@Alex A UltraViolet is still here but under another pseudonym. |
There's a major difference between being blocked for presenting legitimate information and being blocked for spreading bovine excrement... perhaps you were blocked for the latter.

It would appear from your response that I touched on a sore point with you. Frankly, I couldn't care less. Your behaviour towards my good self over an extended period of time, coupled with your whining excuse for blocking me in the first place {you know what I'm talking about} leaves no doubt in my mind that you have no backbone nor do you have any desire to honestly consider any other viewpoint …More
It would appear from your response that I touched on a sore point with you. Frankly, I couldn't care less. Your behaviour towards my good self over an extended period of time, coupled with your whining excuse for blocking me in the first place {you know what I'm talking about} leaves no doubt in my mind that you have no backbone nor do you have any desire to honestly consider any other viewpoint than your own. Further, you dismiss even the rulings of the competent Church authority which relate to alleged apparitions. Of course, you are not alone in this. Many others on GTV contributed to the recent plague of postings of supposedly visionaries, apparitions, prodigies, fake sister Lucia, fake popes, uncle Tom Cobble and all. Conspiratorial material was alive and well. One last point before you predictably 'Block' me again. I note you made no comment with respect to what Saint John of the Cross had to say about the laity chasing after any alleged, or deemed worthy of belief, heaven-sent prodigies and manifestations. Perhaps you view his cautionary comments as simply "bovine excrement"?
