Bamberg Archbishop Ludwig Schick, 70, grabbed a mask during a Facebook Sunday Mass. The performance took place in the Nagelkapelle of Bamberg cathedral.
Schick stepped up to the bishop's throne before the distribution of communion, and returned masked to the altar. There, he sprayed disinfectant on his hands rubbing them vigorously with the chemical substance.
With his chemically polluted hands he distributed Communion to a few selected attendees at the non-public service.

Nobody can prevent a priest from confessing and giving communion, nobody has the right to stop him. The sacrament must be respected. So even if it is not possible to attend Masses, the faithful can ask to be confessed and to receive Communion. +RS

In practice, a priest's bishop can do exactly that. Since they take a vow of obedience, priests often find themselves forced to obey directives like the ones issued during this covid-hysteria.

Is that black cube on a stand by the very lovely statue of Or Lady and the infant Jesus, is that the tabernacle?

In other words, does Jesus Christ have to be "disinfected"? This is a horrible offense to God.

Another German liturgical innovation, borne of an exaggerated secular hysteria. Not sure which is worse, this or the little take-away matchboxes?
