Pachamama Francis: "Faithfulness Is Not a Virtue That Is Highly Valued"

Francis preached on April 14 about King Rehoboam who "began to worship idols."

He admitted that we might object that - [unlike the Pachamama worshippers in the presence of Francis] - "we have never knelt before idols ourselves."

But this would not be an excuse for Francis, "Perhaps you don’t kneel but it’s true that you seek them and often adore idols in your heart. Self-assuredness opens the door to idols."

His conclusion, "Even among us, between people, faithfulness is not a virtue that is highly valued."
