We are (currently) still divided in Catholics/Protestants/Evangelicals/Pentecostals etc., but:

Just saying that certain Evangelical Protestants are very pro-Israel in the sense that they conflate the Old Testament 'Chosen People" with the modern nation sate of Israel begun in 1948. They are the opposite end of the spectrum of those who see all Jews as "the enemies of the human race" and can rightly be called anti-Semite. My own view is that Jews - like any other non-Christian - should be brought into the Church by baptism. As far as nations go, I support our political leaders putting our own country first, just as I expect other nations' leaders to do the same for their own.
