In general I understand and agree with the point you are making, but I have to disagree with what I am quoting above that you wrote. To bless her baby, by the way, in today's world that she is not only not obligated to keep but is aggressively encouraged to kill, is not blessing her previous sin against chastity. The child she carried is created/willed by God. Pope Francis' words and gestures abound in generating confusion and even chaos, but the child needs the blessing of the Church.
