College unsure if naked woman mocking pope violates 'our community standards'
PITTSBURGH, April 30, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Catholics in Pennsylvania and around the country are outraged after learning that a college student dressed as the pope from the waist up – and nude from the waist down – handed out condoms in an event organized by Carnegie Mellon University's art department.
The university has said in a release that it has not yet taken action against the student, who shaved her pubic hair into the shape of a cross, because it is still investigating whether the incident violates “our community standards.”
Local media News Catcher 31 broadcast interviews with only two students, both of whom defended the woman – one, Ivy Kristov, who said it was “all in good fun” and another, Kyri Baker, who said it fell under “freedom of speech.”

I am not surprised at all of the actions by a CMU student. I am from Pittsburgh and went to another university there, IUP, to recieve my masters degree in Art. This is just a stupid grab for attention that Art students are pushed to use by their Professors, who teach them that they must be against the Church. I had a professor who was a former head curator of the Carneige Musuem of Art in Pittsburgh …More

I had a professor who was a former head curator of the Carneige Musuem of Art in Pittsburgh and a a student you are required to read certain Anti-Catholic Anti-Christian writers, Edward Said, Bauldriard (I forgot how to spell his name, but its not that important anyway) on the procession of simularcura which is a hateful bigoted rant against the Church especially the Mass, and other militant femist writers.
The big thing that I know that they are now working on is making in roads to the Church, via Andy Warhol, who was a supposed Christian/Catholic, and pornography. Back then that same prof fortunately got let go for promoting Pornography as Art. This is a new trend in Art. Pornography as being some special kind of art and they are teaching this at the University level!
What that girl at CMU did was solititation and she should be charged for Prostatution!

I assure you that the standards of whore houses are considerably higher than the community standards at Carnegie Mellon. CMU spokesman Ken Walters says the university is reviewing the incident to determine if community standards were violated. That is all we need to know.
This disturbed, undoubtedly unattractive woman got her 15 minutes of fame. It would take real courage to mock Islam or any of the liberal shibboleths; homosexual marriage, diversity, etc.

Bishop Zubik is really annoying me here. The girl is personally responsible for being vulgar and mean. Blabbing about what is wrong with Society will not save her soul. If Zubik really believed in Hell, he would be concerned enough about her to condemn her sin and point the way forward to her. Even Jesus told the adultress to go and sin no more. The Bishop should at least say its a sin and tell her not to do it again.
