Francis Appoints Anti-Catholic Woman to Vatican Agency

Pope Francis appointed on March 21 the Belgian academic Bénedicte Lemmelijn - who describes herself as "a critical friend of the Church" - as a member of the Vatican agency AVEPRO.

The body, created in 2007, is the "Agency for the Evaluation and Promotion of Quality in Ecclesiastical Universities and Faculties".

Ms. Lemmelijn has been a professor of Old Testament since 2003 and dean of the theology department at a KU Leuven since 2022.

She sparked controversy during Francis' September visit to Belgium, when she joined academics in criticizing Church teachings on sexuality and the ordination of women.

On September 28, she told VaticanNews.va that the university's theology faculty had raised the homosexual flag during Francis' visit.

Francis had already appointed her to the Pontifical Biblical Commission in 2021.

Let her go be a rabbi.

Instead of turning everything to gold like the Midis touch, Fransis seems to turn everything he touches into poisonous dirt.

What a shocker is this pontiff. God seems to be giving him warning after warning, through his various health issues yet still he does not publicly repent. Unless he does so, I fear for his spiritual safety at death. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for him!
