Some people who are real a-holes, to the point of committing violent acts towards innocent people through childish passions, need a good, thorough ass-whoopin'. Ideally, when necessary, that is done lovingly and thoughtfully by the person's father while the person is still in their formative years, but that may not always be the case.

I do not know the details of what is happening here, and we should not presume, but, sorry, @michael newman , sometimes there is justification to treat another human being this way.
