This is an interesting article. This is an interesting article. I liked especially the mention of how John Haffert, the co-founder of the Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima was involved in his input in creating the image of the Our Lady. I did not know that. Before my recent relocation to Ohio I had the pleasure of attending the Blue Army Shrine in Asbury, NJ for an entire year as my local church. It was a wonderful spiritual time for me and has given me a special devotion to all things Fatima. The gift shop/bookstore has provided me with lots of devotional material which still sustains me. Just a few weeks ago I finished reading a book on the history of Fatima I obtained there, which increased my devotion still more. There is a chapel there modeled after the Holy House of Loreto with one of Sr. Lucia's visions recreated on the altar, which I had not understood until I read the book. The chapel has mortar made with some crushed stones from the actual Holy House and is said to have the same spiritual benefits as visiting the actual church in Italy (I do not know the story on how they got the stones). Not to mention the relics there. I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area.

@Just me That's funny because I also lived so close I did not even realize it, only 15 minutes away and I never went until the last year I was in NJ. I had thought it was just one of many Fatima shrines all over the world, but this is the actual one associated with the co-founders of the World Apostolate of Fatima, as mentioned in the article. I had thought it was just one of many Fatima shrines all over the world, but this is the actual one associated with the co-founders of the World Apostolate of Fatima, as mentioned in the article. One of them was cured of a fatal disease in the 1940s and dedicated his life to the message of Fatima. Here is their website: World Apostolate of Fatima, USA

@Dante Alighieri I had to turn down Our Lady's statue every time they asked me to show it in my home. I wish I could have. Thank you for the link.
