Pontifical Academy For Contraception Strikes Again

“History records by [Perugia] Archbishop Lambruschini [+1981] confirmed that Paul VI told him directly that Humanae Vitae were not under infallibility.”

This comment was published on the Twitter Account (August 7) of the Pontifical Academy for Anti-Baby-Pills. The Church's Magisterium doesn't depend on what some pope may or may not have said privately to some long dead archbishop.

The decadent Academy is desperate to legitimise contraception although Paul VI's Humanae Vitae explains the truth that contraception is intrinsically evil and prophesied that contraception will lead to marital infidelity, a lowering of moral standards, a dramatic collapse in the number of children, adding that men “may forget the reverence due to a woman, and, disregarding her physical and emotional equilibrium, reduce her to being a mere instrument for the satisfaction of his own desires.”

But the Francis gang lives in the 1960s and unaware of what has happened since.

Pope Francis on birth control: Can the teaching of the Church on contraception change?
Aciprensa limited itself to citing Jorge's inconsistencies but then contrasted him with the Church's doctrine. Although without pointing out the contradictions and the manipulation of the language that Bergoglio used to challenge and question the doctrine of the Catholic Church. But in the end there is no need for explanations because it is evident how Bergoglio contradicts the Catholic moral doctrine. The article concludes by citing the Catechism of Pope John Paul II and that Humanae Vitae confirmed the Church's doctrine on the sinfulness of contraception.

God does not make them disappear as quickly as Onan, rather he abandons them to comfort, to the pleasures of life and to shameful passions (Rom. 1, 26), so that they degenerate without remedy, extirpating themselves.

It’s rather clear that Humanae Vitae’s teaching against contraception meets the criteria of infallibility insofar as it expresses the magisterium’s constant teaching on this topic over the centuries (see Lumen Gentium no. 25)

The prohibition on artificial contraception is clearly an infallible moral teaching. Before AIDS, none of the birth control advocates were arguing for the approval of the use of barrier methods. The proper use of “natural family planning” may not quite be infallible, but it probably doesn’t have the potential to be. They had hoped that “the pill” would regulate the cycle to make the fertile and infertile parts easier to determine. Once it became clear that it eliminated the fertile period, Paul VI had no choice but to judge it negatively, even if he would have preferred to approve it. They say we have Cardinal Ottaviani to thank for this.

Up to the end of the 1920ies all religions - Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc - stood up like a monolith against contraception and contraceptives.
The break-through happened at the Lambeth conference 1929/30 when Anglicans/Episcopalians allowed "planned Parenthood" for married couples.

Around 1960 at the dawn of VATICAN II the pill came on the market. It was a high ranking Austrian prelate who sent his cleric secretary to medicine because "We have to play along!". The papal flap in the face was "Humanae vitae" but it was contradicted by the German Königssteiner and Austrian Mariatroster Erklärung.
We see and feel the fruits of this "moral" development over the last 60 years parallel to those of the Vatican II.

The 'pill' (including the 'morning after pills) not infrequently has an abortifacient effect. It prevents implantation of an already fertilized egg, i.e. an unborn baby, who then dies without baptism.

"For the time is coming when people will not put up with sound doctrine, but having itching ears, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander away to myths. As for you, always be sober, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, carry out your ministry fully." 2 Timothy 3-5

This has always been one of the weakest aspects of misinterpreting papal infallibility since we are lazily gulled into not using our reason or our consciences, electing, instead, to reject, by default, anything not "under infallibility" despite the fact that a masterpiece like Humane Vitae reflects inherent truth, morality, and beauty.

Even Rodrigo Guerra has been fairly critical of the conference and indicated all contraceptive acts will always be immoral. The book was nothing but the description of a conference and Francis hope that EVENTUALLY it might lead to a discussion for a 'depeer pastoral' approach or something.

It is my impression that the circle around Francis is happy to allow a reopening of the discussion that could (through a riggered synodalesque process) result in a 'pastoral' watering down, yet they're trying to contain the fallout of this discussion and prevent a strong orthodox backlash.

But it seems the radical who control the twitter account fear Francis not living long enough and not having a similar successor so they are in a hurry.

Francis seems increasingly fine with just leaving chaos and not consolidating his revolution.

He seems spiteful and angry even against his own former supporters.

His new cardinal picks suggest that as well as him distancing himself from the secretariat of state (Parolin's) letter to the German bishops.
Kenjiro M. Yoshimori
Some of his new CArdinal picks are against Francis' agenda, which is very humerous because that makes it even less likely we will have a Francis II. Next Pope I would not be surprised is liturgically similar, or even stronger tradition wise, like Benedict XVI, also with regards to returning seminary formation to a more traditional line, nuns in habits, priests in cassocks, etc.

Please look here. "Fr. Lio has amassed argument after argument, and document after document, to maintain that Humanae Vitae, art. 14, contains an ex cathedra definition of the intrinsic immorality of contraception."

They'll say contraception is okay to approve sex without procreation which approves sex for pure recreation which approves sodomy. That's the whole reason they'd state non-procreative sex is allowable. The hierarchy is aiming to have their own sin justified by the Church.

It does seem as if the West has arrived at that station!

Contraception is not a question of “infallibility”. It plain and simple goes against the nature and meaning of the act.
Jeffrey Ade
Makes sense to get everyone arguing about infallibility when it is as you say simply anspect of the natural law. But maybe if they argue about this natural law they can change it?
