MEDJUGORJE, AND THE SMOKING GUNS

The following is written by Mark Mallett, a former television journalist in Canada and award-winning documentarian. THE Ruini Commission, appointed by Pope Benedict XVI to study the apparitions of …

Anyhow, it is good to see that all here, attacking Medjugorje in general, do not have any other statement than listed in the article. Not even a new argument, just the usual talking down style comments.

Medjugorje is satanic fraud

you state something without facts.

You are treading on dangerous waters folks. Msgr. Zanic of Medjugorje proclaimed that these apparitions are not made by the most Holy Virgin Mary and he forbade the pilgrimages set up from the beginning without ecclesiastical approval by the pastor of Mostar. Listen to the local Bishop who is the official authority. www.olrl.org/prophecy/medjugorje.shtml

Zanic resigned several years ago. His personal opinion on Medjugorje was overwritten by Vatican. Papal envoy archbishop Moser still there.
The local bishop is no longer the official authority re Medjugorje - see the Ruini Commission of Vatican.

@petrus100453 Medjugorgje is largely a scam that, like Vatican 2, mixed truth with fiction to create a diabolical lie.

you seem not to read this article, arguing without facts, accusing without reason

I'm making the larger point. Anyway, I know a lot about it.

Mary supposedly said she'd appear only 3 times in 1981. Instead, "she" has appeared 47,000 times. Not only this, but the seers are making money off of the Mother of God, lots of money, while they conjur her at their convenience. And Jesus? The purpose of Mary's being? Hardly mentioned. This is a scam.

jmy1975 do you have any first hand knowledge? Have you been there? Have you ever spoken to the seers? Have you access to their financial records? Where did you come up with the "I will only appear 3 times"? They "conjur her at their convenience"? Where did that come from? I am by no means an expert but I have been there twice as well as many of the approved sites (Fatima, Lourdes, Rue de Bac ect.…More

Where did you come up with the "I will only appear 3 times"? They "conjur her at their convenience"? Where did that come from? I am by no means an expert but I have been there twice as well as many of the approved sites (Fatima, Lourdes, Rue de Bac ect.) and have been able to converse with the seers twice here in the United States. I have never detected any hint of deception. As a 20 year retired Police Officer from Miami, I would like to think I have a little bit of experience with scams and frauds. Please be careful about gathering all of your info from the internet. Remember also that their is danger in opposing Gods plan. While you are under no obligation to believe private revelation yourself, working to turn others against it comes with a lot of moral responsibility. Would you have wanted to be among those demanding that St Joan of Arc be burned at the stake because a "real Seer" would not wear mens clothing and lead troops in battle? God Bless

@frawley a modicum of targeted research proves what I say. Also because you've been there means nothing.

Targeted research? Please state your sources. My visiting there does not prove anything. It does however give me access to evidence that is not available remotely. If the seers in Medjugorje are scammers then the church needs a lot more like them! Are the vast majority of parishioners in your parish daily communicants? Does your parish have plenty of vocations?

Medjugorje is the hope of the world (and of the Church).
