Priest Allows Rapper to Distribute Marijuana Communion in Church

Father Luis González Torres of the Guadalupan Shrine, Hermosillo/Mexico, authorised a video shooting of Alemán, a rapper, in his church (video below).

Alemán dances in a Novus Ordo chasuble and hands out marijuana cigars like hosts. González said that Alemán wanted to send a "positive message" and, as "Francis says", the doors are open and no one can judge anyone's life.

The Blessed Sacrament was allegedly removed from the church during the shooting. After the video was published, Hermosillo Archdiocese issued a lame "apology".

The archdiocese calls the video "imprudent" but without ill intention. They don't want this to be repeated in a church - as if show business would come up with the same gag twice.

No atonement was performed.
