It’s not what you say but what you do that defines you!
Sunday December 11 Third of Advent
Dear brothers and sisters, the Gospel of Sunday December 11 , third of Advent reminds us that God is happy when we are happy, but we are happy when, empowered by His Holy Spirit, we’re able to make "explode" life, peace and joy into the world with the greatest power of His Love.
Following, in this, the example of Jesus, the Son of God, who when questioned by John's disciples about his identity invites his interlocutors to pay attention to the miracles He was performing.
In fact, dear brothers and sisters, what defines us as children of God are not our talk, but facts; not our ideas, but reality; not what we think, but the truth; not our will, but the will of God! "who wants all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:4
Jesus' warning remains, therefore, the unique and definitive criterion of our belonging to the family of God: "Who is my Mother and who are my brothers? Whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven is my brother, sister and mother…”. Mk 3,20-35
