Perhaps the other miracle is that he managed to graduate from Yale with his faith more than intact! May God bless him in his new vocation as a doctor of the soul as well as the body.
I’m not sure the state of the Catholic chaplaincy at Yale, but Harvard has been very blessed with their chaplains for awhile, and it has resulted in many vocations for the Archdiocese of Boston, as well as religious orders. It’s the liberal (c)atholic schools that really specialize in driving young Catholics out of the Church.
